A custom curated candle in collaboration with the renowned fragrance brand LAFCO New York. The scent evokes gratitude and joy, comforting all who are around it. Fashion brand and BMF client Lilly Pulitzer regularly hosts Giving Events through which they partner with organizations in the communities surrounding their stores and invite customers to shop for a cause. Activist Bobby Shriver and Bono, the lead vocalist of the rock band U2, started a brand licensing company called (RED) to fight the spread of AIDS. In an effort to support the Global Fund and fight HIV and AIDS worldwide, Apple is collaborating with (RED) through a color-coded promotion. Over the years they have orchestrated major clean ups, raised awareness for mental health, and fundraised for critical issues all the while creating strong bonds with friends and communities. There’s very little reliable data about people with disabilities, thus, their needs are largely invisible to policymakers and mostly ignored by the global community. Over the last 2 years, Microsoft has been working to remedy this problem. Microsoft partnered with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to create the Speech Accessibility Project. This research initiative gathered data from people with atypical speech, which will then be utilized to make voice recognition technology more useful for people with diverse speech patterns and disabilities. Popular YouTube sensation MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, has recently made headlines for his charitable work in Africa. The philanthropic YouTuber is the most subscribed person on the platform with over 210 million followers and is known globally for his large-scale donations. In a recent 10-minute video, he highlighted his charitable endeavors in Kenya, including supplying schools, building a bridge, and building 100 wells. The video, posted just over a week ago, has received 100 million views so far. BMF joins the world in mourning the recent passing of the beloved Matthew Perry, renowned for his role as Chandler Bing on "Friends." The cherished sitcom not only helped so many feel good, but has remained a significant cultural touchstone. Despite the fame, Perry's memoir, released last year, unveiled the personal struggles he faced during the series' filming. Beyond the screen, Matthew Perry dedicated his life to supporting others on the journey to sobriety, emerging as a fervent advocate for increased compassion and understanding toward those dealing with drug-related issues.
