Well, it’s Fashion Month. Each September in New York City, there’s a palpable buzz this first week of month, as a new season kicks off with a flurry of fashion shows, parties, brand activations, and more. |
Fashion is a perennial source of inspiration for us at BMF. Our All-Agency ‘Creative Inspiration’ group chat and Instagram DMs are constantly filled with inspirations from the fashion world being shared. And there are few sectors that do brand marketing and communications better than the fashion and related industries – they practically wrote the playbook on building brands that make the world dream. |

The campaign reflects various personality archetypes seen in the cultural epicenter of New York. | | | Dreamland Fashion Week in Central Park will set the Guinness World Record for “the largest attendance of a fashion show. On Saturday, September 9 from 3pm at Rumsey Playfield, the public fashion show will spotlight the creations of multi-faceted LA-based designer Marco Marco. Diplo will headline, and the event will feature performances from Blond:ish and LP Giobbi. Brain Dead, Jacquemus, and Cactus Plant Flea Market are just a few of the labels supporting Maui On My Mind, a fundraising initiative providing financial relief to those affected by the wildfires burning on the Hawaiian island of Maui. Since August 8, multiple wildfires have displaced thousands of residents on Maui. A Hawaii-based studio, Passionfruit, has launched a collaborative T-Shirt – “Maui On My Mind” – where 100% of net profits will be donated to provide aid to the local communities impacted by the wildfires. Tilly Talbot is the first AI fashion designer. Sydney-based Studio Snoop is the first design firm to integrate AI into its daily routine. Both the company and the AI are in the process of mutual learning: “We are now its main source of learning. It provides data or notes that we could not cover on our own. That doesn’t mean that we don’t check its input; we consult and work with it, but it is not our only source, far from it,” explains Talbot.
