Dear Pulse Readers,
This week’s Pulse is meaningful to us in a multitude of ways. Not only is this our 50th issue, but it’s hitting your inbox at the start of Independence Day weekend.
There’s so much complexity to those 50 stars, 13 stripes, and America. For many, the long shadow cast by the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision makes it harder to feel the love.
Nevertheless, America has always been – and will hopefully always be – a collection of diverse cultures, values, and ideas, all living under one banner. Anything less would be far graver: we hold that truth to be self-evident.
As agency marketers, we’re charged with speaking to disparate audiences, while also feeling social responsibility to guide marketing and communications with a moral compass. That is our opportunity to drive change by winning heart and minds.
Our 50th issue is dedicated to America – in all its paradoxes and imperfection. How can we use our power as marketers and communicators to form a more perfect union?
Stay inspired.
