Dear Pulse Readers, 

We don’t mean to startle you but Thanksgiving is around the corner – officially kicking off the holiday season. As consumers, this ‘key selling period’ sneaks up on us every year, but for the marketers among us, we’ve been planning and thinking about the holidays for months.

In this season of gratitude, we reflect on our clients and our teams who make the agency what it is. Because of them, BMF continues to evolve and grow. Case in point: earlier this week, BMF took home CLIO Awards for our work with Prime Video’s Savage x Fenty Vol. 3 – ‘Savage In The Streets’. Not only is this BMF’s first-ever CLIO win, but the project won three CLIO Awards in three different categories. We’re grateful to our clients who entrust us and our teams who inspire award-winning work.

Everything Worth Doing/Seeing/Getting/Booking

Lego has made its way into the fashion world. Louis Vuitton has announced a collab with the Danish brand, with LV stores around the world erecting festive window scenes made out of legos. Some festive artworks include detailed replicas of the Arc de Triomphe and snow-capped villages. Read more about it here and check out the installations at your local LV store.

Remember last month's viral spray-on dress moment at Copernis fashion show in Paris? Well, Bella has done it again. But this time she isn’t covered in liquid tissue made out of polymers – she’s bedazzled in Swarovski diamonds. Bella is the face of Swarovski's new campaign and the pictures are worth checking out here.


 

Dior has transformed Harrods into a branded gingerbread house. The takeover called “The Fabulous World of Dior” runs through January 3rd 2023 and showcases Harrods as a giant gingerbread house – including 44 window displays and a façade illuminated with stars, roses and flowers. Step inside to discover two exclusive Dior pop-ups and a Dior café featuring Dior-inspired cookies and a menu filled with classics of French cuisine. Check out Harrods website here for more info. 

Deck the halls with Tiffany & Warhols. The New York-based jeweler launched an immersive holiday campaign and dug deep through the archives to find old Andy Warhol sketches, which they’ve used as inspiration for their Tiffany & Co. x Andy Warhol Collection. The items range from Bone China dishes to tree ornaments – all limited edition of course. Snag yourself a piece of history on Tiffany's website.

If you’re located in New York you should check out Prada’s shimmering Holiday collection takeover of Saks Fifth Avenue. The windows focus on the collection's subdued colorway – you'll see the luxurious items displayed in front of bright yellow images – making everything stand out even more. Claridge’s Hotel is a London icon and every year they unveil a reinterpreted version of a Christmas tree. This year Sandra Choi – the creative director at luxury shoe brand Jimmy Choo – is in charge of the holiday décor. “The diamond” will be unveiled on November 23 and will be made out of reflective mirrors, pulsing lights and a giant glittering bow on top. Peloton is known for its (sometimes controversial) holiday campaigns. This year the US version of the ad features Robin Arzón and Alex Toussaint cheering on a couple trying to tackle their lengthy to-do list before family comes over for holidays. Check out the UK version here. 

We all love a little nostalgia and The Backstreet Boys are giving us just that this holiday season. They reshot their iconic y2K Rolling Stone cover as a cheeky teaser for their upcoming holiday underwear collection. Check the MeUndies collection out here. 

The holiday season is known for spending all day in your PJs. Kim K tapped into this cozy spirit by launching Skims biggest gift shop ever. With over 15 limited-edition collections – made out of new additions and returning faves – there’s something there for everyone. To introduce the new holiday shop Kim called up social media stars Skai Jackson, Landon Barker and Suede Brooks to be the faces of the new campaign. Shop away here. 

Amazon teamed up with Oscar-winning director and actor Taika Waititi for their new holiday ad campaign. The almost 3-minute clip tells the story of a father trying to create the perfect holiday snow globe surprise for his daughter by using Amazon services. The holiday season is about gift giving, but wrapping paper isn’t sustainable. Enter Ecovative! They’ve worked with brands such as Gucci and Burberry on eco-friendly packaging. The material is made from agricultural waste and can literally be "grown" into any shape it's molded into. Its applications are endless, from construction materials to luxury candle packaging.
