June is upon us, and as an LGBTQ+-owned agency, it’s more than just another month. Pride means so much to us that we’re dedicating this edition of The Pulse to the topic, because its what we stand for.
June also means Juneteenth, an important moment that’s only recently come to the forefront of culture. As an agency, we’re particularly interested in the intersection of Pride and Juneteeth. We recently worked with our client LA Pride to update their logo to better represent the communities they serve.
BMF is an NGLCC-certified agency, and we truly believe in putting the needs and interests of our community at the center of the marketing activities we conceptualize for our clients. As we tell our clients, for us, Pride is so much more than a month. It is a 365, 24/7 mission.

NYC Pride is returning IRL after two years of mostly virtual happenings and this year’s official theme is "Unapologetically Us." In addition to the annual Pride March, NYC Pride will also be organizing PrideFest, an LGBTQ street fair; Pride Island, a music festival; and Youth Pride. Tribeca Film Festival returns to NYC June 8-19. This year TFF is hosting free outdoor movie screenings around the city highlighting films connected to Juneteenth, Latinx communities, the environment, and music as well as family-friendly films for audiences of all ages.
