Dear Pulse Readers,

This has been an epic summer for Hollywood. From the releases of Barbie and Oppenheimer – the fourth highest-grossing box office weekend ever – to the summer of strikes, there’s nothing quite like it in recent memory.

While the studios may be stalled, there’s so much streaming. From the return of And Just Like That, to The Bear, and everything in-between – we suggest savoring every second as we may all may be watching re-runs until the studios, writers & actors can settle their differences.

While the immediate future of entertainment is questionable, we have no doubt that the biz will bounce back. Last weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con reminded us of the power of experiential to galvanize fandom. Read on for a round up of the entertainment industry’s coolest happenings, and the biggest blockbusters to look forward to in 2023, 2024 & beyond.

Finally, in other entertainment news, last night BMF was honored with an AdAge Small Agency Award in the Campaign of Year category for “Summer Of ‘Ghosts’” – the summer-long campaign we produced last year that celebrated the ghosts and living leads of the CBS Original (TV’s #1 new comedy), now approaching its third season.
