OBJECTIVE

Provide an atmosphere that generates buzz, awareness, press, and advocacy from top tier celebrities for the on-channel launch of Hulu’s The 1619 Project.


About the project

At the premiere of Hulu’s The 1619 Project, BMF offered guests the opportunity to celebrate the undeniable contributions made to the United States by Black Americans. BMF brought spaces within the Academy Museum to life by integrating a variety of mediums including food, design, music, and art. Guests were presented with an exclusive screening, Q&A with show creators, and a fully immersive post-screening reception.
