OBJECTIVE
BMF was tasked with securing meaningful organic press coverage surrounding the company’s overall goal: to remove one billion single-use plastic bottles from the ocean by 2030. The team aimed to drive awareness of the product launch across the U.S., while also showcasing the important work being done by The Hidden Sea and its partners tied to the brand promise of removing ten plastic bottles from the world’s oceans for every one bottle of wine sold.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
BMF crafted a comprehensive communication plan to strategically tell the story of The Hidden Sea. Targeted media outreach focused on lifestyle publications as well as climate and sustainability outlets. Beyond a steady cadence of brand media coverage, BMF also coordinated mailers for top tier target media, garnered coverage for a major stunt in the Egyptian desert, hosted a week-long media tour in New York and LA, and executed a media trip to Indonesia.
